Yay all done x3

Happy 4th… a little late. I was drunk as expected… and eating a TON of food that which the combination has left me feeling not so good today XD. Jumped around between everyone’s backyard BBQ’s. Over all this year kinda sucked though. Not as much fun going on as previous years.

Good stuff to report for once! I was finally promoted at work <3 I R Manda the Companion Animal Manager *devious smile* I has powers now!! But seriously; pay raise, manager perks, authority and over seeing basic control of the all the stores animals. Really it’s what I wanted XD. About damn time! I do worry for my fish department though. No idea who is really going to take my place… but I will crack the whip on them to keep up the same quality as I did >O. Will not see my fish go to poor conditions!

I started a new piece as well (actually I’ve started a few pieces… but this one I decided to continue on) PREVIEW:

So far I like a lot… cause it’s clean looking. Shou from alice nine and basing the piece off of the song Subaru (yes, song obsession). Should be really pretty if all goes to plan ^ ^. That fucking shirt of his is a HUGE pain in the ass. Also *points* new logo thingy. Not just the butterfly anymore! I think it looks very oshare ;D I like muh logos to be smartly dressed XB

Wooo, cranked out another one some how! Did Hizumi cause Joe has some sort of homosexual crush on him. I liked my Tarou better though… anyway, clicky for full view.

Sooo other than more art, new layout ^ ^ and new location for that matter. For some reason just sticking wordpress in a folder within the main domain would cause it to load like crap and time out… not sure if that really has much to do with it… but I’m just guessing so. Either way it works fine now and I has a purty new layout. Media player is being a bitch though. Probably going to change that pretty soon to something more reliable. Difficulties everywhere D:

So other than my last minute piece of art work, everything is awesome and crappy at the same time. I don’t like this inbetween stuff -.-

On to what’s new. I got a car ^ ^. Joe got it for me for my birthday actually but I didn’t get it right away. Also couldn’t drive it right away. Had to pay for registration, insurance and other stuff to get it road worthy. Also need to get it inspected by next week… and maybe get some new tires. like $450 later I’m not enjoying my birthday present as much as I would like. I am happy to have a car… but I wasn’t ready to take on the financial burden of it. So now I don’t have much of a choice. At least it only costs like $20 to fill up. I’m also not use to driving at all T-T. It’s been like 5 years I believe since I’ve really driven so I have a lot to get use to again. I’m all paranoid I’m gonna crash into somebody. That’s all I need -.-
So with the car now costing me half my savings (oh, did I mention he used my money to purchase it? Used MY money to buy my own birthday gift..) and 2 whole paychecks I’m in a pretty good negative as far as money goes. This means we will be unfortunately canceling our Otakon plans…. as my hotel/gas/spending money is all gone… If I start saving now I could make most of it up… but this year I really didn’t want to have to do the whole last minute saving crap plus I have a lovely car insurance bill added on to my monthly expenses now. Ah well… Happy Birthday to me :D:D

So last night I got bored and started translating “want want want” by 12012. There use to be a site up that had the song’s translation and everything but I think it was taken down. Such a shame -.- So I just decided to not be lazy and do it myself if I wanted to know it so bad.

*In this line and the line above the kanji 刻 is used, in this case to express the word time/moment. In the song however you clearly hear him say 時 “toki” while 刻 would be pronounced “koku”. A secondary meaning to 刻 is a carving or engraving, I think he chose this kanji because of a secondary meaning… kinda like a permanently engraved moment or something like that.

I didn’t fail so much with this one this time XD.

*Title of song seems can translate a few ways. Directly translated it means “black locust tree” aka robinia pseudoacacia. It can also mean “needle pagoda tree” as thats what each individual kanji represents. I chose to generalize the title to just locust tree as it makes more sense to the song. The black locust tree is a thorny tree but mostly the backs of the leaves. The Golden locust and other variations have long pointed thorns covering most of the tree, some 2-6 inches in length and closely related to the acacia tree. Seems appropriate.

Plastic tree – 針槐 [hairenju]

Might go buy new lip piercing stuff tomorrow then… and I’m sure I’ll be tempted to get a second hole in my lip XD. I’m just not sure if they can initially put an acrylic retainer in a new piercing as I can’t have metal in my face at work O_o. I shall ask though ^^. Happy birthday to me *puts hole in lip* hooray!
I was thinking maybe of a tattoo…. but that’s something I’d rather put a TON of thought into… well I have put a ton of thought into it but I’m just not sure what to start with XD.

Yuh, Ima loser with my cute animal pictures XD. Might as well get some sort of enjoyment out of my work I suppose. Should just own my own pet shop! Perhaps one day (*cough*the betta bowl NYC*cough*).

Lastly for tonight, I have a new song obsession. “want want want” by 12012. I thought the song was really pretty at first but then I started some slight lyric comprehension that got me interested enough to go look them up. Now I’m in love. Beautiful song both musically and lyrically. Really some how reminds me of The Cure o.O. and we all know how much of a huge closet Cure fan I am . Robert Smith = much Jrock inspiration FYI .
