Yay all done x3

Happy 4th… a little late. I was drunk as expected… and eating a TON of food that which the combination has left me feeling not so good today XD. Jumped around between everyone’s backyard BBQ’s. Over all this year kinda sucked though. Not as much fun going on as previous years.

Good stuff to report for once! I was finally promoted at work <3 I R Manda the Companion Animal Manager *devious smile* I has powers now!! But seriously; pay raise, manager perks, authority and over seeing basic control of the all the stores animals. Really it’s what I wanted XD. About damn time! I do worry for my fish department though. No idea who is really going to take my place… but I will crack the whip on them to keep up the same quality as I did >O. Will not see my fish go to poor conditions!

I started a new piece as well (actually I’ve started a few pieces… but this one I decided to continue on) PREVIEW:

So far I like a lot… cause it’s clean looking. Shou from alice nine and basing the piece off of the song Subaru (yes, song obsession). Should be really pretty if all goes to plan ^ ^. That fucking shirt of his is a HUGE pain in the ass. Also *points* new logo thingy. Not just the butterfly anymore! I think it looks very oshare ;D I like muh logos to be smartly dressed XB

Sooo other than more art, new layout ^ ^ and new location for that matter. For some reason just sticking wordpress in a folder within the main domain would cause it to load like crap and time out… not sure if that really has much to do with it… but I’m just guessing so. Either way it works fine now and I has a purty new layout. Media player is being a bitch though. Probably going to change that pretty soon to something more reliable. Difficulties everywhere D:

So other than my last minute piece of art work, everything is awesome and crappy at the same time. I don’t like this inbetween stuff -.-

We’ve rearranged the room for spring, has given is a wonderfully open feeling and frees up a lot of clutter. I really love spring cleaning ^ ^. Found a bunch of crap I’d all buy forgotten about in the closet including my old Japan paper work and my alter stuff. Found my athame in a box with some dried up flowers from who knows how long ago. And Joe’s old Moogle plushies I bought him as a stupid cute anniversary gift like 3 years ago XD. They were in a box that had signs of closet bugs so had to give them a good wash.
Kiwi got his first real vet visit because he had a bad molt. Turns out he’d been cheating with his diet and consuming mostly seed instead of his pellets so he’s on a special pellet only diet. He had a little birdie fit over it for like a day before giving in and eating the pellets. $90 later I’m glad I bought birdie insurance.

Soooo I’ve been doing the gym as often as possible. I’m able to widthstand cardio for a full hour now without felling like I’m about to die. I feel much better and I’ve lost weight but I just don’t seem much of a difference in my opinion. Really frustrating D: I’m about to put myself on an even more strict diet just to get results faster. Jess is basically on a diabetic’s diet because of her own health even though she’s not diabetic. It’s actually really healthy and cuts out all the crap that causes most of my own set backs… like sugar and carbohydrates XD. Even though I stay under my 1000 calories a day I’m still taking in stuff that doesn’t process well. So I’m thinking of just following the same thing… just so hard to cut out bread stuff… sugar I’d be fine without. I just love food so much it’s incredibly difficult T-T. Lots of parties and wedding coming up too. It feels hopeless XD.

Right near our gym is the Asian food mart so we’ve been doing a lot of shopping there. I never realized how amazingly cheap all there stuff is. They have the gallon bottles of my itoen green tea 2 for $5 that I can’t find anywhere else. Unsweetened tea is completely unheard of in this country. And chrosanthemom honey tea… though it’s actually packed full of sugar… so no more of that for me T-T. I’m just very sad they no longer carry my yakisoba! Who knew grilled noodles and mayo went so well together. We accidentally bought some type of chips that were made from the reproductive organs of crabs… Why would anyone make a chip out of that?! I thought they were shrimp chips or something…. nope… crab ovaries! I shouldn’t trust the chinese food I can’t read T-T.
So while browsing the store its inevitable that we come across some Engrish…funny enough that I just had to take a picture… It just seems so funny.
We bought lots of stuff to make curry like 3 days ago. I haven’t had curry in such a long time, it was awesome. One pot made enough to feed us pretty much through the week. It’s been a small way of saving money XD.

I’ve been very much involved in art lately. I finally made the leap and bought my first set of Copic markers out of much frustration with my Prismas. They just run out too quick and have very poor color selection. Sad I can get them for $2.00 a marker too… ended up shelling out like $4.58 a marker for the Copics…. which sadly is still pretty cheap…. Sooooo well worth it though. They truly are god markers! They draw and blend so smooth and easy… like a mix of a marker and water color paint or something o.o! I have a set of 36 and it’s still not enough though XD. I’m thinking one a month I’ll designate a small amount of money into buying a couple of markers at a time. I have to be an expensive whore and get the Copic sketch instead of the Copic ciao which are like a $1.50 cheaper… I want lots of purty color options though T-T. To buy the enitre set of Copic Sketch markers would cost like $1,400… Sad to think I might invest about that much in just markers by the time I’m satisfied… I have major issues.

So going along with my art thing, I finally picked back up on a CG pic since my computer died and I lost the last one I worked so long on T-T… was almost complete too. I’m much happier with this one for some reason though o.o I think the coloring is just going much easier now that I’ve gotten a good feel for the tablet. The possibilities are endless! bwahahahah!
So this time I drew Tsukasa, yet another member of Ab]sin[the that Liz and I came up with so long ago. I really always wanted to draw him… but could never quite figure out how I wanted him to look… he was suppose to be a little more girlie then the already flaming homosexual band. His symbol is the fish as well… so once I’m done CGing him I’d like to add fish into his portrait… I’m thinking parrot fish… cause they look all sorts of happy all the time (and I’m partial to the ones already swimming in my tank XD).

Pretty Tsukasa plays the bass ^ ^. I have much more detail to add… and the black lines are bothering me… I can’t wait to colorize them… but so far I think he’s turning out well! I already have a picture of Shinji (drummer) drawn up. I’ll probably CG him next… then finally on to my picture of Ryou and Mika! I still haven’t characterized Kenji… suppose to be the asshole lead guitarist… and his symbol is the snake… so I’m thinking he’ll look something like a stuck up sexy asshole whose just so sexy you forgive him for being an asshole… We’ll see <3

I’m very happy with the new tablet ^^. Has me all excited to actually work again.

In review of my favorite gifts this year let us count down my top 5:

1. Wacom inturos3 4×6 tablet: Bwahahahaha I finally got a tablet… one that doesn’t suck at least. I had been waiting forever for my mother to find my old tablet at her house but she never found the pen for it. It sucked to begin with but was better than nothing. BUT NOW I have my purty Wacom that is a complete unfailure. I still would enjoy having the cintique… but for $1000 price tag it’ll have to wait till next year XD. My inturos will hold me over for a while.

2. It’s a SUPER RABBIT!: Probably one of the greatest gifts ever. I recently introduced Christina to Antic Cafe and all their craziness which she likes to call “sugar music”. She’s really not into Jrock or Japanese music but she finds them funny and different. Some kind of joke was made somehow where we point at something and say “it’s a super rabbit!!!” and thus for Christmas she made me…. a SUPER RABBIT out of a dog toy and stuff she found in the grooming office XDD.

3. I has a wallet ! : No picture for this one, don’t need you people identifying my wallet for stealing purposes. Finally after many years I have a wallet ^^. No more sticking things in random pockets for me! Just hope I don’t misplace my wallet like I do everything else. Bound to happen XDDD.

4. NAP set: Brookstone sells this stuff called “NAP” which is like a soft fabric stuff that they make blankets, pillows etc out of. I got the NAP set which includes a blanket, pillow and socks (and joe got me the teddy bear too) and OMG softest stuff ever. I sleep well now.

5. Money, always a classic: Somehow this year I received a decent amount of money in my cards then previously. Figures it’s the one year I didn’t ask for money too. So I had fun and ordered some nice things for myself. Mainly some new MAC eyeshadows cause I’m an expensive whore, hair extensions, kitty clips, and considering a few other things. I should probably be smart and save for bills… but eh, I never get things for myself anymore T-T.

Overall a good year. Especially my tablet. I’ve been drawing everyday now to get use to it. Have just now started on CGing a few old sketches. Remember this one:

i woke up in terrible pain from the lower right side of my mouth…no idea wth is wrong with it…so i stagger downstairs to get some ice only to find the cats had knocked the bird cage over…and i had to clean it up while holding and icepack to my face and trying to fend off the cats that were trying to roll around in the mess. then i called my mother and had her set up an emergency appointment for me to go see the doctor again cause the pain was just too much. went to the doctor, he said everything looked fine and i don’t have dry socket thank god, but the stitches were probably too tight and causing the gum to irritate and swell and rip itself….so he removed them…all of them. my gums were healed enough on the inside that it was ok to take the stitches out but the outside still has a great deal of healing to do….i now have 4 gapping bloody holes in my mouth…and i’m constantly tasting blood which is making me feel very sick to my stomach. so i get home and discover i had one pain killer left till i get a refill later on tonight. i took it and called out of work today and tried calling joe a million times who never hears his phone. i finally gave up…and he called me later on at eleven. he was suppose to come over and “spend the day with me” after doing a few things for his dad. i was hungry…but decided to wait till he got to my house to cook something…so i just went upstairs to lay down while i waited for him…and hour later i fell asleep cause of the pain killer…and 3 hours later i woke up at a quarter after 3 and gave joe a call to see where the hell he is….turns out he blew me off to go to the movies and didn’t bother calling to let me know…needless to say that didn’t help my mood any….

so yeah….today pretty much was just a very sucky day…i wish i could go back to sleep…but my painkiller is wearing off and i can’t sleep with pain. thankfully my mother is getting home in like an hour so i can take it and pass out again.

on a lighter note, i found a really cute website that brought a little bit of joy to my day….cause i love cute things…..
