Basics: My name is Manda (Amanda… but I don’t like the lette “A” o.o so Manda please ^^), I’m 23 years-old and I live in NY. Obvious by now I’m really into Jrock and Japanese culture. Yes, I’ll admit to being a Japanophile XD whatever makes me happy. I’m owner of the website Deadeyes-star.com established in 2006 dedicated to the Jrock community . I also run websites on basically anything I have some sort of passion for. Web design is a huge hobby of mine. Something I really just enjoy. With some luck maybe it’ll grow from a hobby into a career… doubtful.
At the moment I attend college. My main point of interest is Japanese. I’ve had the pleasure of studying abroad in Tokyo for 3 months. My ultimate goal at this point is to find excuses to keep me there. I’m sure I’ll return… once I have the money again XD.
Along with school I also work at a pet store ^^. I’m a HUGE animal lover to the psychotic point. Mainly I’m a fish person. I <3 fishes! I own a parrotlet, a dwarf hamster and a 55 gallon with lots of aggressive little swimming bastards and whatever else I end up taking home from work…. list is always changing.
I’m also an artist  . My media of choice is digital. Goals in art right now: buy an effen wacom screen tablet… and lots of copic markers *drools*…. and make more time for creation … My art can be seen on deviantART.com.
I also love photography. I’m always taking pictures of stupid things including myself XD. Fashion is fun for me, so I enjoy playing dress-up and taking pictures. No, I’m not a model and I’m not trying to be one. I also enjoy photographing fish since I seem so obsessed with them. Wonderful of me to pick such a difficult subject to photograph.
